Three years after their biggest-selling album to date, the No. 2-charting Louder Now, Long Island, NYs Taking Back Sunday returned with a new energy, a new guitarist and a new fearlessness on 2009s New Again, produced by David Kahne (Sublime, The Strokes, Paul McCartney). Having toured with Linkin Parks Projekt Revolution, opened for My Chemical Romance at Madison Square Garden, co-headlined Warped, and played Live Earth, Taking Back Sunday fulfilled the expectations of a growing fan base and yet expanded its musical boundaries with an album that ranges from anthemic rock to engaging pop, the relentless to the infectious. On this, their fourth full-length effort Taking Back Sunday was truly New Again.
